The first phase of the cleaning technology is to degrease metal surfaces using Henkel phosphate, wash the workpiece with a phosphated 50 °C wash water and 50 bar pressure in a dedicated washer.

This is followed by a clean water (ion-exchanged) rinse, and the product is placed in a dryer where it obtains its surface ready for painting at 80-100 °C. The phosphate layer provides a short temporary corrosion protection, but plays a major role in the increased adhesion of the powder coating and the metal surface.

The price is affected by the following factors:

• Special color effects (matte, texture, metallic, etc.) other than RAL glossy
• Outdoor or indoor coatings
• Interface configuration (flat, curved compound)
• Normal or zinc primers
• Weight and size of the item
• If the element is not metallic clean, requires special cleaning (shot blasting)

The technology knows RAL colors with a glossy, silk, matte, textured surface. Also available: metallic colors, metal effects, neon colors, chrome surfaces, antique coatings, and heat and chemical resistant coatings.
